12526A NETWORK INTERFACE BOARD WITH 
ISOLATED RS232 PORT 

The 12526 or 12526A Network Interface Board with an isolated RS232 port is for hooking up a printer or 
computer to the network. The NIB mounts to a 6-gang box, 2” deep minimum.  The Faraday 12411 
Surface Backbox or the 12525 Surface Backbox with Transient Suppressor may be used for surface

Notes: 
 
1.) 

Units to be installed in accordance with all local codes. 

2.) 

T-Tapping is not allowed.  Communication wiring must 

          be daisy chained from network interface board to    
          network interface board. 
3.)      Use Category 5 wire with 3000 feet maximum distance 
          from network interface module to network interface 
          module. 
4.) 

12525 is required when network wiring leaves the  

 building.
