WARNING: To minimize battery consumption,
before turning the key ensure that the dip switch
is in the low beam position.
This bike is equiped by electric and kick starter.
ELECTRIC STARTER
Pull the clutch lever while pushing the start but-
ton on the throttle control without turning the
throt- tle twist grip.
Gradually release the clutch and at the same
time throttle with moderation.
STARTING OFF
After having warmed up the engine, use the
clutch control lever and engage 1st gear (gear
lever downwards neutral indicator (N) on the in-
strument panel is not lit).
COLD START
The vehicle is fitted with a cold start device or
choke. It is controlled either by a lever located
near the clutch lever on the left of the handlebar
or by a button on the carburettor.
To connect the choke, pull the lever when the
engine is switched off and cold.
Keep pulling on the lever and press the start but-
ton.
Prolonged connection of the choke
(with engine running) could jeopard-
ise engine operation and efficiency.
