3.2.2 Pressure and Coolant Controls
Fluid loss tests performed with the provided reservoir should not
be performed with pressures exceeding 1,500 psi (6.9 MPa).
The pressure and coolant controls and their features are described below.

Supply Pressure
gauge
measures the supply pressure.
•
Chamber Pressure
gauge measures the pressure in the chamber.
•
Nitrogen Supply Valve
(

2
Supply)
is the main nitrogen supply valve for the
complete gas pressure system. The gauge registers incoming nitrogen pressure
from the supply valve.
•
Nitrogen Vent Valve (N
2
Vent)
relieves all pressure from nitrogen
manifolding and test chamber during operating procedures.
•
Pressure Regulator
regulates nitrogen pressure to the test chamber.
•
Coolant Valve
controls coolant flow to filtrate unit and heating jacket upon test
completion. The three-way valve allows water or air to flow through. The valve
positions are
