BUS:
Select the signal to which the EQ is to be applied. Available for selection:
Drum:
The drum channels are individually routed through the EQ. Turn on the EQ on the VOL
page separately for each channel you want.
Mix:
The EQ settings are applied to the internal mixer. All drum channels are automatically
routed through the EQ.
Sub:
The EQ settings are applied to the internal SUB Mix and automatically affect all drum
channels present in the SUB Mix.
Live Sound
If you only want to frequency manipulate individual instruments in your kit, e.g. give the snare a little
more midrange without changing the tom sound, then select "Drum" as the BUS setting and switch on
the EQ for the snare only on the VOL page.
LOW:
If you only want to change the frequency of individual instruments in your kit, e.g. give the
snare a little more midrange without changing the tom sound, select "Drum" as the BUS setting and
switch on the EQ for the snare only on the VOL page.
MID:
This is where you specify how much the centre band should be raised or lowered (MID
↓
mode).
A control range from -12 to +12 dB is available. Pressing the knob while holding down the MORE
button switches to MID
↑
mode. You can now set the desired frequency (see also FREQ).
HIGH:
Like the low frequency band, the high frequency band has a shelf characteristic (cow tail) and
has a corner frequency of 12 kHz. Here, too, you have a boost and cut range of -12 to +12 dB
respectively, as well as a low-pass filter at 12 kHz.
