This setting is only for one channel. Users can use "copy to" all if they want to setup all
channels.
●
Sub stream is used for network transmission. Encoding format, maximum bitrate and frame
rate can be less than or equal to main stream.
●
"Encode mode" selection determines video playback, video backup and recording with audio
output or not. Only select "AV stream" , “video recording”, “video playback” and “video
backup” and there is audio output.

Stream Control Settings:
1) "constant stream" indicates that the system encodes image according to user-defined bit
rate and frame rate;
2) "variable stream" means the system encodes image based on user-defined image quality
and video frame rate, but the bit rate is adjusted automatically according to the video
scene.
3) "Average stream" indicates that the system controls the fluctuation range according to
user-defined code rate.

Operation steps:
1) Right click the main menu “System Setup”
→
“Channel setup”
→
“PTZ setup” then get setting
interface as below:
Function Type Description
Channel It is used to show all the channel number of the device
Encode mode It used to set up the encode mode of the device, including video only and AV steam(audio/video mixed).
Main stream For the stream of the local video
Sub stream For the stream of network transfer
Bitrate mode It is used to change the stream mode, support variable/constant/average stream
Encode format
It is used to change encode format,
support 1080P/H-1080P/720P/960H/WCIF/D1/CIF/QCIF/HD1
Limited rate
It is used to show the video file size. Larger value, more clear the video file. But occupied HDD space/network
resources is larger.
Quality It is used to adjust image quality, support the highest/high/medium, etc.
Frame Rate
It is used for adjusting video fluency. Larger value, smoother video playback, but occupied HDD space/network
resources is larger. The frame rate is related to camera type and resolution:
