EN INTRODUCTION
Some acts ( such as connecting or disconnecting vehicle circuit, turning on or off the
engine, switching on or off vehicle appliance, and etc. ) may cause surge in vehicle
circuit, and this surge may damage sensitive components of the vehicle. The DX.8-
12A and DX.8-24A surge protectors can suppress the surge voltage and limit it to a
safe value so that the sensitive components on the vehicle are protected.
INSTALLATION AND USE
1. Connect the red clip of the surge protector to the positive terminal of the vehicle
battery ( or you can connect this red clip to the connecting terminal which the positive
terminal of the vehicle battery is connected to ), and connect the black clip of the surge
protector to the negative terminal of the vehicle battery ( or you can connect this black
clip to the connecting
terminal which the negative terminal of the vehicle battery is connected to ).
2. The red LED of the surge protector lights up indicating that the surge protector
starts working and protecting the electronic devices of the vehicle against surge. If the
red LED does not light up, check if the connections of the surge protector are correct
and the contacts are good.
