DO NOT OVERLOAD THE BASKET, OR ATTEMPT TO
USE THE BASKET OR THE PLATFORM AS A CRANE.
5.
The emergency stop button cuts off the main power and
prohibits all movement.
6.
If the red stability lamp on the basket control box and on
one, or more of the outriggers is on, and the boom
functions stop, the main reason is that the limit for sufficient
stability is reached. (This is normally caused by maximum
outreach with the given basket load compared to the span
of the outriggers).
As long as these red lights are on, the only functions that
increase stability can be used:
•
TELESCOPE IN
•
MAJNBOOM UP
7.
Routable basket (optional equipment).
If the platform is equipped with a routable basket, the
basket can be rotated by means of a turn switch.
As illustrated below the basket can only be rotated when
the jib in above horizontal level (the area marked with +).
If the basket rotation is activated below the horizontal level
(area marked with -) the rotation movement will be blocked
and the yellow “movements blocked” light turns on, on the
basket control panel.
8.
Emergency control.
a.
If the controls are malfunctioning, push the
emergency control button (red button on the back of
the ground control box on turret) while simultaneously
pressing the third from the top left hydraulic valve by
using the installed handles, until the boom is fully
retracted. By directly pushing the valves, the stability
system is
not
working. See WARNING below.
WHEN OPERATION THE PLATFORM FROM THE
GROUND, BY ENGAGING ON THE HYDRAULIC VALVES
DIRECTLY, THE SAFETYSYSTEM OF THE PLATFORM IS
OUT OF FUNCTION. WHEN OPERATING THE PLATFORM
DIRECTLY ON THE HYDRAULIC VALVES, “TELESCOPE
IN IS THE ONLY FUNCTION TO BE USED UNTIL THE
TELESCOPE IS FULLY RETRACTED. FAILURE TO DO SO,
CAN CAUSE PERSONNEL INJURY OR DEATH.
CALL AUTHORISED MAINTENANCE IMMEDIATELY.
b.
When boom is fully retracted, the other functions can
be used to rotate swing jib down and then boom
down until basket is brought to the ground, as long as
there is no interference between booms and basket.
9.
Emergency lowering.
a.
If the emergency control is malfunctioning, the red
emergency lowering valve shall be opened by turning
it parallel to the oilpipe. The manual hand pump and
manual valves must be used simultaneously, as per
above pos. 6. By directly using the valves, the stability
system is not working. This valve is situated to the left
of the hand pump (see page 34).
See WARNING below.
WHEN OPERATION THE PLATFORM ENGAGING ON THE
HYDRAULIC VALVES OF THE PLATFORM IS OUT OF
FUNCTION.
WHEN OPERATING THE PLATFORM DIRECTLY ON THE
HYDRAULIC VALVES, “TELESCOPE IN” IS THE ONLY
FUNCTION TO BE USED UNTIL THE TELESCOPE IS
FULLY RETRACTED. FAILURE TO DO SO, CAN CAUSE
PERSONNEL INJURY OR DEATH.
