Mounting of basket.

Swing away jib for controlpanel to allow mounting of basket.

Mount the basket, by sliding it in over the two bars at the

basket mount, and make sure the basked is locked to the

mount by the vertical locking mechanism in the bottom of

the basket.

The basket is now mounted and the platform is ready for use.

After use of the platform, the outriggers can be stowed by

following the above instructions in reverse row.

10. If 230 V A C direct power is not available, it is possible to

work without being connected to the 230 V A C outlet, but

to avoid discharging the batteries the battery charger shall

if possible always be plugged in.

WHEN MOUNTING THE BASKET MAKE SURE THAT THE

BASKET IS LOCKED PROPERLY. A BASKET NOT LOCKED

PROPERLY CAN FALL OF AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

WHEN THE SPIDER IS USED FOR WELDING WORK THE

SPIDER HAS TO BE UNPLUGGED AND THE

OUTRIGGERS HAVE TO BE PLACED ON RUBBER MATS.

3.2 OPERATING THE PLATFORM

Read the complete manual and the safety instructions, and

make sure to perform the daily safety check before

attempting to use the platform.(Section 3.6)

Set up the Platform as per section 3.1.

Enter the basket (max. lb. 440/200 kg.)

The platform can now be operated. The main boom should

be horizontal to the ground when entering the basket.

The platform shall be used by personnel to gain access i.e. for

maintenance and cleaning operations.

The platform is not isolated for work on or near high voltage

installations, and the platform shall not be used for any other

purpose than to give access for personnel. The platform shall

not be used as a crane, and big objects shall not be placed in

the basket or on the boom, i.e. big signs or windows.

Contact between platform or basket and fixed objects i.e.

buildings shall be avoided.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

BEFORE ENTERING THE BASKET, IT MUST BE

CONTROLLED THAT THE BASKET IS PROPERLY LOCKED

TO THE BASKET SUSPENSION. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE

THE PLATFORM WITHOUT THE USE OF A SAFETYBELT.

THE SAFETYBELT MUST BE PROPERLY LOCKED IN THE

FIXING POINT IN THE BUTTON OF THE BASKET.

INCORRECT OPERATING PROCEDURES CAN BE

COURSE FOR INJURY OR DEATH.

THE BASKET IS NOT ISOLATED FOR WORK ON OR

NEAR HIGH VOLTAGE INSTALLATION.

WORK IN THE ASSURED CLEAR DISTANCE FROM

ELECTRICAL POWER LINES.

FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN ELECTROCUTION

CAUSING INJURY OR DEATH.

The platform is operated by the two joysticks and a platform

enable button for two-handed control. (option)

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLIMB OUTSIDE THE BASKET

WHEN IT IS LIFTED OFF THE GROUND.

ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU USE A SAFETY BELT AS

REQUIRED BY YOUR EMPLOYER OR THE

APPROPRIATE FALL PROTECTION. FALLING FROM AN

AERIAL PLATFORM CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

FALLING DOWN FROM AN AERIAL PLATFORM CAN

CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLIMB ON TOP OF THE BASKET

OR TO USE A LADDER OR THE LIKE FROM THE BASKET.

OVERLOADING THE PLATFORM CAN CAUSE

SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
