REAR AXLES NOT LOCKED WITH THE LOCKING PIN,

CAN MAKE THE REAR AXLE FALL OUT AND THE

PLATFORM TURN OVER, CAUSING SERIOUS

INJURY OR DEATH.

MAKE SURE THAT REAR AXLES ARE ALWAYS LOCKED

PROPERLY WITH LOCKING PIN.

WHEN DRIVING THE PLATFORM WITH THE AXLES IN

THE STOWED POSITION, ALWAYS KEEP THE

PLATFORM ON HARD FLAT GROUND AND IN LOW

SPEED. IF THE PLATFORM IS DRIVEN ON A SLOPE IT

CAN TIP OVER AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

USE THE WIDEST AXLE WIDTH POSSIBLE AT ALL TIMES.

HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT

2.1 POWER TRANSMISSION

The platform is equipped with an oil pump which is connected

to the 24V DC motor.

Furthermore proportional valves, filters and the oil tank in the

turret section enables power transmission.

2.2 ACTIVATING OF BOOM SECTIONS

Movements of main boom is done by hydraulic cylinders,

telescoping is done via a chain system.

IF A CHAIN SHOULD BREAK, THE PLATFORM

SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY.

OPERATING THE PLATFORM WITH A BROKEN CHAIN,

CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

CALL AN AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE IMMEDIATELY.

Hydraulic motor and gear with hydraulic release brake, swings

the jib approx. 2700. The turret is rotated by a planetary gear

and a hydraulic drive motor.

Self propelled drive via a hydraulic engine.

2.3 ACTIVATING OF OUTRIGGERS

Hydraulic cylinders provide movements of the outriggers.

All cylinders have safety valves.

2.4 BASKET LEVELLING

Basket is levelled by a closed hydraulic circuit via a double

chain system.

One chain is carrying the load and another chain is provided in

case of emergency.

IF A CHAIN SHOULD BREAK, THE PLATFORM MUST

BE BROUGHT TO THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY, TO

CONTINUE OPERATING THE PLATFORM WITH A

BROKEN CHAIN CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.

CALL AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE IMMEDIATELY.

2.5 GROUND CONTROLS

If a failure occurs in the basket controls, the basket can be

brought down to the ground by using the ground controls on

turret base.

2.6 EMERGENCY CONTROLS

Should the ground button controls also malfunction, the

platform is equipped with an emergency control – start pump

button (red button on the right hand side of the ground control

box) which when engaged and by using the hydraulic valve for

the desired function and by pushing the two LS-valve can bring

the basket down to the ground.

WHEN OPERATION THE PLATFORM FROM THE

GROUND, BY ENGAGING ON THE HYDRAULIC

VALVES DIRECTLY, THE SAFETYSYSTEM OF THE

PLATFORM IS OUT OF FUNCTION. WHEN OPERATING

THE PLATFORM DIRECTLY ON THE HYDRAULIC

VALVES, “TELESCOPE IN” IS THE ONLY FUNCTION TO

BE USED UNTIL THE TELESCOPE IS FULLY

RETRACTED. FAILURE TO DO SO, CAN CAUSE

PERSONNEL INJURY OR DEATH.

CALL AUTHORISED MAINTENANCE IMMEDIATELY.

2.7 EMERGENCY LOWERING

Should all electrical installations not work the platform is

equipped with a manually operated handpump, which can

provide oilpressure to bring the basket on the ground, if

engaged while pressing hydraulic valve as per above pos.

2.8 BASKET SWING

(1.) Hydraulic gear with motor. 180º rotation.
