USER’S INSTRUCTION
Safety instructions
The scaffolding may only be erected and taken down by personnel who are fully familiar with the content of this in-
stallation and user manual. The assembly and dismantling should be carried out by 2 persons. The scaffolding may
be erected and used exclusively on a level and sufficiently stabile ground able to carry its weight. Use only original
parts. Before use check right assemble of all elements. Pay attention to block the castors. Work only on 1 platform.
Don’t jump on the platforms. Don’t lean over the scaffolding. Pay attention that children don’t play on the product.
Don’t use the scaffolding in presence of wind force higher than 30 km/h. The scaffolding must be dismantled in pres-
ence of wind force higher than 30 km/h. Working platform must be equipped with main protections, intermediate
protections and with toe board. Toe board isn’t necessary for the intermediate boards. It’s forbidden to lift or hoist
the scaffold. The access to the structure should occur only through the trapdoor of the working platform. Bridging of
scaffolds to building with blanks or similar material is prohibited. Don’t exceed the maximum loading capacity shown
on the products Don’t exceed the maximum height shown on the products. Wear suitable footwear when climbing
the scaffolding.
Safety instructions for the movement of the scaffolding
The scaffolding may only be moved, if it carries no persons and no material.
Scaffolding should be placed on an even and steady base. Don’t move the scaffolding at speeds that exceeds the
normal walking speed. When positioning the scaffolding / ladder make sure to don’t hit pedestrians, vehicles or doors.
Fix doors (but not fire exits) and windows, if possible, in the work area. Move the scaffold only forward and back, and
to the left and right, i.e. parallel to the sides of the frame.
Safety instructions for work on electrical systems
Before to use the scaffolding close to electrical system and units, ensure that: - the unit is disconnected from the
power supply. The unit is secured against inadvertent switching on. All parts have been tested for residual voltage.
REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Repairs and maintenances should be carried out by a competent person and they should be in accordance with the
producer’s instructions. In case the scaffolding is unused for a long period, it should be stored in an aired place, pro-
tected by humidity and by direct light. The dirty sediments caused by the use can be removed with water or special
substance for cleaning.
WARRANTY
The scaffolding ALUMITO has 5 year- warranty against production defects.
The manufacturer disclaims all responsibility in case of:
-use of parts and/or elements different from the original ones.
-use of the product in unmentioned conditions
-bad or lacking maintenance of parts
-bad conservation of the product
furthermore:
-The warranty is void if it isn’t possible to go back to the manufacturing date (illegibility or lack of the marking of date).
-The warranty doesn’t cover those parts subject to wear and also those elements changed or repaired by
unauthorized people and so that they aren’t the equivalent of authentic components.
-The warranty is limited to the faulty parts recognized by the manufacturer.
-If other unauthentic parts are used, the manufacturer will disclaim any responsibility.
