FUEL
Which pellet should I choose?
The fab stoves performance depends on
the type of fuel they are fuelled with.
For better use of the appliance, natural
wood
pellets
should
be
used,
in
accordance with standard EN 14961-2 A1.
Pellets are
a solid, environmentally
friendly fuel
obtained from the processing
and transformation of dry natural wood
waste - pressing. During pressing, natural
substances are released that give it
consistency and compactness, without the
need for additives. And through this
manufacturing process the pellet is given a
cylindrical shape.
The pellet is considered a
clean fuel
because its combustion has a
low emission
of greenhouse gases
such as carbon
dioxide and carbon monoxide;
Due to the low humidity of pellets,
combustion is more efficient
, the flame is
stable and burns longer than other fuels;
The pellet is a compact and dense residue,
with a
higher calorific power
than
firewood, for example.
What are pellets?
For the production of wood pellets, it is
not
necessary to cut down trees
. Pellets can be
made from wood scraps, sawdust and
pieces of wood that are normally discarded
in forest clearings;
It optimises space
in homes; one tonne of
pellets is equivalent to one and a half
tonnes of wood. Furthermore, the use of this
biofuel is
more hygienic
as it keeps the
environment clean, free of leaves and
insects.
