The CS 202 sensor can be buried in the ground about 6 inches deep parallel to the
paved driveway. It also can be placed 2” deep in asphalt or concrete under the path of
the vehicle. In all cases, the probe has to stay totally motionless and be free of any vi-
bration in order to prevent false detects. The lead-in cable has to be protected from
any damage to its outer insulation.
1. Disconnect the battery and power from the
Estate Swing
control board.
2. On the wire coming from the Free Exit Wand strip off 2 inches of insulation
from the
Gray
cover
3. Connect the
Brown
wire to terminal 1 on the
Estate Swing
control board
4. Connect the
Green
wire to one of the negative terminals on the
Estate Swing
control board.
5.
Connect the
Black
wire from the free exit wand wire to the
Black Battery
Spade
6.
Connect the
Red
wire from the free exit wand wire to the
Red
Battery Spade
7. IMPORTANT: In order for the
Estate Swing
to function properly and
safely with the Free Exit Wand it must be set to Logic “A” (page 18)
8.
After making connections the Free Exit Wand must power up for 60 seconds
before use.
To use the gate timer to open and close the gate a particular time

Set your
Estate Swing
to
Logic “A” (page 18)
.
2.
Run 18 gauge wire from the Battery (do not use the 12V terminal as it has an
automatic sleep mode after being idle for long periods of time, which only re-
activates after gate movement begins)

3.
Connect positive from the battery to positive on the timer and negative from
the battery to negative on the timer.
4.
Run 18 gauge wire from terminal 1 on the
Estate Swing
control board to ter-
minal 5 of the timer.
5.
Run 18 gauge wire from one of the negative terminals on the
Estate Swing
control board to terminal 3 on the timer.
To use the timer to lock out transmitters for a particular time block.
1. Set your
Estate Swing
to
Logic “A" (page 18)
.
2. All of the connections are going to be made using 18 gauge wire. Run 18
gauge wire from the Battery (do not use the 12V terminal as it has an auto-

from the receiver to
terminal 1

Estate Swing

4. Connect the
White
from the receiver to
terminal 4
on the Timer.
5. Connect
terminal 3
on the timer to one of the
negative terminals

tate Swing
control board.
