If the installation is:
•
with flanged column pipes, the flanges must have hollows for the cable to avoid its
damaging;
•
with threaded column pipes, place by the upper end the suited threaded sleeve to
avoid possible sliding between pipe and bracket. Each pipe must be fully tightened
to prevent them from becoming unscrewed by the reaction torque of the unit;
•
with plastic column pipes, it is necessary to respect recommended by the producer
of the pipe. If it is necessary the electropump has to be sustained with stainless
steel rope and well fastened.

Use a hoist to lift the electropump and stub pipe without subjecting the components to
bending stress. Lower the pump into the well, allowing the bracket to rest on the top of the
same.

Firmly fix the powering and grounding cables to the riser with adequate clamps every 2-3
meters to prevent them from falling owing to their weight. This could cause the cable to
form loops, which could subsequently rub against the well sides when the unit is started
and stopped.

If single core power supply cables are used, it is recommended to invert the cables every
20 meters to keep balanced the voltage drop.
→
Connect the second column pipe, that too coupled to a supporting bracket at its top.
→
Keep the assembly lifted and remove the first supporting bracket, then lower the unit as
described in the previous points.
Repeat this operation till reaching the desired depth. The unit should be submersed for at
least 1 or 2 meters below the water dynamic level, such however to fulfil its NPSH
requirements.

It is recommended to install every 150 meters an additional non-return valve.
→
The water level, for seasonal drop or for an excessive pump delivery compared to well
feeding, should never be lower than the pump suction chamber, as that could cause:
avoid air from being drawn up as this could create a vortex, driving bushes seizing and
motor overheating.

Check that the motor is raised at least 2-3 meters from the bottom of the well. The well
drawing filters must always be below the position occupied by the motor in order to
ensure correct cooling.
