The Slow clocking unit is provided to maintain the synchronization to the base-station timing using a 32Khz
crystal oscillator while the 13Mhz reference clock is switched off. As shown in Figure 35, this unit is composed
of frequency measurement unit, pause unit and clock management unit. Because of the inaccuracy of the 32Khz
oscillator, a frequency measurement unit is provided to calibrate the 32Khz crystal taking the accurate 13Mhz
source as the reference.

Power, Clocks and Reset
This Chapter describes about the power, clock and reset management functions provided by MT6227.
Together with Power Management IC, MT6227 offers both fine and coarse resolutions of power control by
way of software programming. With this efficient method, the developer can turn on selective resources
accordingly in order to achieve optimized power consumption. The Operating modes of MT6227 as well as
main power states provided by the PMIC are shown in Figure 36.
