start up procedure
Turn the gas on at the engine with slide lever located on the left side of the engine. Pull the throttle half 1.
way out. Pull the choke all the way out.
Flip the “Power” switch to “On” 2.
Turn the ignition key to the right to start the engine. If the engine does not start in 15 seconds, wait one 3.
minute and retry. Adjust the choke if needed. If the engine still does not start check if the Pre-Start Up
Procedures have been done and check if there is gas in the tank.
Push the choke in when the engine starts. Adjust the throttle to an idle speed. 4.
Pull the throttle all the way out so the engine runs at full speed. The throttle can be locked in place by 5.

Turn the HP Pump Pressure Control Knob (See Pg. 8) all the way out (counterclockwise) to assure the

pressure to the HP pump doesn’t get too high.
Turn up the system hydraulic pressure to 1200 PSI by turning the System Pressure Adjusting Bolt (See 7.
Pg. 8) on the hydraulic pump clockwise (in) until the gauge reads 1200 PSI. Tighten the hex nut on the
adjusting screw to keep it from rotating due to vibration.
To move the machine forward, set the Forward/Reverse switch to “Forward”. Pull up on the Drive 8.
Engagement Lever that is underneath the left handle grip. Adjust the Striping Speed Control Knob (See Pg.
9) on the left side of the machine until you are traveling at a slow walking speed. Release the lever and the
machine will coast to a stop.
To reverse the machine, move the Forward/Reverse switch on the control panel to “Reverse” while the 9.
machine is standing still. Pull up on the Drive Engagement Lever under the left handle grip and the
machine will back up. Do not flip the Forward/Reverse switch while the machine is being powered forward
or backward.
To move the machine faster between painting operations, push the Drive Engagement Lever underneath 10.
the left grip handle down. The machine should move forward at a higher speed. Adjust the Override Speed
Control Knob on the left of the control panel until you move at a speed that will be good for in-between
striping operation. Release the lever and hold back on the machine and the machine will come to a stop.
