I.      Install Windshield (Fig. I)

 

 

I.1    With an assistant holding the windshield in place, secure the  

 

        windshield hinges to the windshield support with philips head 

 

        machine screws, hinge spacers, flat washers, and nylon 

 

        locknuts. Do not tighten hardware at this time. 

(Fig. I.1)

 

 

I.2    To install windshield bottom latches into the cowl brackets, open 

 

        windshield slightly. Grasp and squeeze the spring

-

loaded tabs 

 

        and craddle latches in cowl brackets, aligning tab bosses with 

 

        their respective mounting holes.

I.3    To close, grasp the windshield bottom edge and lift slightly while 

 

        pushing closed. Fully close latches. Align sides of windshield 

 

        with side frames and tighten hinges. HINGES ARE PLASTIC 

 

        COMPONENTS. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. TORQUE TO 

 

        7 FT./LBS. MAX.

 

 

 

 

 

J.     Install Rear Window (Fig. J) 

 

 

J.1  Peel the protective film off the rear window.

 

 

J.2  Position the window and secure at the middle hole (see fig. J.5)

 

       on each side mounting location with

       bolts, fender washers, rubber washers, window spacers, fender 

 

       washers, and nylon locknuts as shown

J.3  Secure window at the bottom corner holes with
