A.4 Install a
5/16”
flanged nut onto the threaded shaft of each of
the two rubber bed bumpers (with the flanged side of the nut
facing away from the bonded rubber bumper end). Per fig

ure A.4, install bed bumpers in bottom of dump bed as shown.
Set bed bumpers to appropriate height. Adjust height of bed
bumpers as needed to ensure proper bed latching.
A.5 Remove the two bolts holding the wear plate to the floor board
on each side. Discard this hardware.
A.6 Remove access door and hinge for oil dip stick and save door
and hinge for later reinstallation. Discard the bolts and locknuts
if using rivets to reinstall access door. (ref.: remove the four
bolts shown in figure A.6) (gas models MPT/IND 1200 only).
B. Position Side Frames (Fig. B.)
B.1 With the aid of an assistant, install the side frames to the
existing holes in the vehicle floor (ref.: step A.5). Use
