5. Pull the film up while sliding the cassette into the
film compartment. Push the cassette all the way to the
back of the compartment.
6. Lay the film over both edges of the
support rings
and
tuck the leading edge underneath the open
film feed
roller
. Allow at least 2 to 3 inches (50 - 75 mm) to
extend in front of the open
film feed roller
.
7. Verify that the film is laying smoothly over the
support rings
and is not sitting up on either guide
edge of the rings. Evenly raise together the red
handles of the film feed roller, and push the handles
in until the roller is securely snapped under the
retaining springs
.
8. With the cover open, push the film feed key
on
the Control Panel, allow a few inches of film to feed
and once again push the film feed key
. to stop.
9. The film should create a smooth drum-shaped form
over the support rings. If not, repeat steps 2, and 6
through 8.
10. Close the film compartment door.
11. Close the top cover.
12. Push down on cover latches
13. Push the film feed key
once to flush the exposed
film from the drum. Then push the cut key
.
Discard the exposed film.
14. Place the Output Cassette onto the front lips. Check the
LCD Display for a ‘
’ indication. The film is
now loaded and ready for imaging.

Helpful Hint:
When using a disposable cassette, make a little pull tab
out of tape and secure it to the bottom front of the
disposable supply cassette. This can be used as a
handle when you are removing the empty cassette
from the film supply compartment.
