This list can be sorted. Click on any of the table headings or click the arrow that appears
when you hover the pointer over a table heading and select a sort order from the drop-down
list.
NOTE:
Recordings stored on the internal drive can be automatically uploaded to a
network server (configured in
Configuration
>
System
Settings
>
Default
Recording
Destination
or in
Configuration
>
Schedule
Settings
>
Opencast
Scheduling
). If internal storage space is nearly full and the SMP is
set up to automatically upload recordings to a server, the SMP uses a disc cleanup
feature to make room for new recordings. As needed, the unit automatically deletes
old recordings that have already been uploaded to a server, starting with the oldest
recordings, until there is enough free space on the disk.
Expanding Folders to View File Lists
To view available files expand a specific folder in the
File
Directory
panel by clicking the
+
adjacent to it.
NOTE:
If many files are stored in the unit or if the unit is connected to shared network
drives, it is best not to expand all folders at once because loading the full file list can
require additional processing and network resources.
The
Collapse
( ) and
Expand
( ) arrow buttons for the
File
Directory
panel
work differently from those of other panels within these Web pages. Instead of collapsing
or expanding the panel, these buttons expand or collapse the folders and file lists within
the panel. The folder list in figure 74 (shown on the left) expands to the entire folder and file
listings (right).

Finding Files
To find a file, do one of the following:
•
Expand folders in the
File

panel (as described above) and browse
through the file list. If desired, narrow the list of files to a specific type (such as images)
by applying a filter to the directory.
•
Use the search feature.
