Step 8: Complete the Physical Installation

Before mounting the MLC Plus 84, make sure that all device cables have been fed through the wall frame and are connected to 
the MLC Plus 84 rear panel. Disconnect power at the source from all devices in the system.

NOTE:

  Extron recommends taking safety precautions to avoid electrostatic discharge issues during installation.

To mount the unit on the raceway, wall, or furniture:

1. 

Align the MLC Plus 84 wall frame to the mounting  
bracket (metal), which you attached to the 
mounting surface during site preparation 
(see 

Site Preparation

 on page 2).

2. 

Holding the wall frame in place 
on the bracket, press the 
cabled MLC Plus 84 into 
the frame until the two tabs 
on either side of the unit 
snap into the opening of 
the bracket, holding the 
MLC Plus 84 in place.
