Connecting for USB Control
The USB mini B Config port is located on the DVC rear panel. It can be used to configure
the converter via SIS commands or the PCS configuration software.
1.
Connect the DVC rear panel USB Config port to a USB port on the computer.

When the DVC is first connected to a particular USB port on the computer, one of the
following windows may open.
NOTE:
If you have uploaded the PCS software to your computer, the USB driver is
already installed and the screens do not appear.

Windows XP and earlier:
If the following window opens, specify whether
Windows Update will search the Web for the driver needed for the computer to
communicate with the DVC via the USB port (this is not necessary if the USB driver
already exists on the computer).
