Installation
This section gives the steps for installing the DVC RGB-HD A. It also provides a description
of the rear panel connectors and instructions for cabling. Topics include:

Follow these steps to install and set up the DVC RGB-HD A :
1.
Disconnect power
from the converter and ensure that all other devices that will be
connected to it are powered off.
2.
(Optional)
Mount the unit in a rack or to furniture

, beginning on
page 32).
3.
Connect the input.
Connect an RGBHV source to the front panel VGA input

4.
(Optional)
Connect the audio input.
Connect analog audio to the 3.5 mm TRS jack on
the front panel (see

).
5.
Connect the digital output.
Connect an HDMI sink to the rear panel HDMI output

6.
Connect a control device.
Connect a computer or control system to the rear panel

) to configure and control the converter via SIS
commands or the PCS Configuration Software.
7.
Connect a 12 VDC power supply to the 2-pole captive screw power connector (see

Configure the DVC RGB-HD A as needed, using SIS commands (see the
section, beginning on page 11) or the PCS software (see
the program help file).
