3) Short press the control button (fig. 2, position
5), which will result in the projection of a hori-
zontal plane and a vertical line, which will flash
in regular intervals of approx. 5 seconds.
4) Press the control button (fig. 2, position 4) to
set the projection of the horizontal plane and/
or the vertical line.
5) The device can be tilted outside the automatic
levelling range.

Prior to performing the settings below, it is essen-
tial to have the device in a horizontal position,
since it is necessary to unlock the locked levelling
automatics, and the device could be damaged.
1) Set the toggle switch (fig. 2, position 3) to the
open padlock position.
4) Use the control button (fig. 2, position 4) to set
the projection of the horizontal plane and/or
the vertical line as required.
3) Hold down the control button (fig. 2, posi-
tion 5) to change the brightness intensity.
When a lower brightness intensity is set, the
LED indicator light will be lit (fig. 2, position 4).
When a higher brightness intensity is set, the
LED indicator light will not be lit.
4) Then set the toggle switch (fig. 2, position 3)
to the closed padlock position and now it is
possible to tilt the device outside the automatic
levelling range. The laser lines will flash in
regularly intervals of approx. 5 s.

To turn off, hold down the control button (fig. 2,
position 5).

Prevent small children, physically and mentally unfit
persons and uninstructed persons from using the device.
Ensure that children do not play with the device.

Do not remove the technical rating label from
the device.

open padlock, hold down the control button (fig.
2, position 5) to set a higher or lower laser line
brightness. When a lower brightness is set, the
LED indicator light will be lit (fig. 2, position 4).

Set the toggle switch (fig. 2, position 5) to the
position of the closed padlock and then hold
down the control button (fig. 2, position 5), which
will turn off the laser lines and turn off the device.
NoTE:
•
The device does not have an automatic shut off
function that is triggered after a certain idle time.

Do not carry or tilt, etc. the device while the
toggle switch (fig. 2, position 3) is in the open
padlock position, otherwise there is a risk of dam-
aging the self-levelling mechanism in the device.

The laser device can also be used
when tilted outside the automat-
ic-levelling mode when the self-lev-
elling mechanism is locked, e.g. for
determining a second parallel line, see fig. 1.

ATTENTioN
•
Using the device with the self-levelling mecha-
nism locked may result in less accurate measure-
ments and is not a substitute for measurement
with the use of the self-levelling automatics.
SETTiNg THE moDE wiTHoUT
LEvELLiNg AUTomATiCS
1) Stand the laser device on a stable horizontal
surface or screw the device on to the thread of
a tripod (not included), or screw the device on
to a deflection arm of a stand (not included),
which is then attached to a magnetic surface or
screwed on to a tripod.
2) Set the toggle switch (fig. 2, position 3) to the
closed padlock position.
