III. Connection and
installation of the
floodlight

ATTENTION

Carefully read the entire user‘s manual before first use
and keep it with the product so that the user can become
acquainted with it. If you lend or sell the product to some-
body, include this user‘s manual with it. Prevent this user‘s
manual from being damaged. The manufacturer takes no
responsibility for damages or injuries arising from use of
the device that is in contradiction to this user‘s manual.
Acquaint yourself with all the control elements and parts
of the floodlight before using it. Check that all parts are
firmly attached before use, also check that no part of the
floodlight is damaged, namely the protective front cover
and the insulation on the power cord. A degraded power
cord is also considered to constitute damage. Do not use
a floodlight with damaged parts and have it repaired at an
authorised service centre for the Extol® brand.
INSTALLATION OF THE FLOODLIGHTS AND
TRIPOD

Mount the floodlights and secure them in place with
the supplied screws to the portable stand with carry
handle, see fig. 1 and point them as required. The
floodlights can be used in this way, installed on a stand
and carried using the carry handle or the given stand
can be installed and attached on to a telescopic tripod.
Assemble the tripod according to fig. 2 and secure all its
moving parts using the relevant fastening elements.
The extended tripod rod can be turned 360° around its
central axis as required, see fig. 2.
The direct distance of the floodlights from the illumina-
ted object should be at least 0.5 m, see fig. 6.

If necessary, the floodlights may be mounted on a wall.
Mount the floodlight at a height of 1-3 m above the
ground (fig. 6). The direct distance of the floodlights
from the illuminated object should be at least 0.5 m.
When the floodlight is mounted in a corner then it must
be at least 20 cm away from the ceiling (Fig. 7).
