ALWAYS CHECK FOR LEAKS AFTER EVERY L.P.
TANK CHANGE
Your grill is ready to use!
Check all gas supply
fitting
s for leaks before each use. It is handy
to keep a spray bo
tt
le of soapy water near the shut-o
ff
valve of
the gas supply line. Spray all the
fittings.
Bubbles indicate leaks.

GENERAL
BEFORE TESTING
DO NOT SMOKE WHILE LEAK TESTING.
NEVER PERFORM LEAK TEST WITH AN OPEN FLAME.
TO TEST
GAS FLOW CHECK
Although all gas connec
ti
ons on the grill are leak tested at the
factory prior to shipment, a complete gas leak test check must be
performed at the installa
tio
n site due to possible mishandling in
shipment, or excessive pressure unknowingly being applied to the
unit. Periodically check the whole system for leaks following the
procedures listed below. If the smell of gas is detected at any
ti
me
you should immediately check the
entire syste
m for leaks.
Make sure that all packing material is removed from the grill
including
ti
e-down straps.
Make a soap solu
ti
on of one part liquid detergent and one part
water. You will need a spray bo
tt
le, brush, or rag to apply the
s
olution
to the
fitting
s. For the ini
ti
al leak test, make sure the L.P.
cylinder is 80% full.
Only those parts recommended by the manufacturer should be
used on the grill.
Subs
tituti
on will void the warranty. Do not use the g
rill until
all
connec
ti
ons have been checked and do not leak.
Each grill burner is tested and adjusted at the factory prior to
shipment; how
ever, variati
ons in the local gas supply may make it
necessary to adjust the burners. The
fl
ames of the burners should
be visually checked. Flames should be blue and stable with no
yellow
ti
ps, excessive noise or li
ft
ing. If any of these condi
ti
ons
exist, check to see if the air shu
tt
er or burner ports are blocked by
dirt, debris, spider webs, etc. If y
ou have any questi
ons regarding
fl
ame stability, please call customer service at 1-866-206-0888.
Make sure the control valves are in the “OFF” position, and turn
on the gas supply.
Check all connec
ti
ons from the L.P. gas regulator and supply
valve up to and including the connec
ti
on to the manifold pipe
assembly (the pipe that goes to the burners). Soap bubbles will
appear where a leak is present.
If a leak is present, immediately turn o
ff
the gas supply If a leak
is present, immediately turn o
ff
the gas supply and
ti
ghten the
leaky
fittin
gs.
Turn the gas back on and recheck.
Should the gas co
ntinue
to leak from any of the
fittin
gs, turn o
ff
the gas supply and contact customer service at 1-866-206-0888
