Troubleshooting

Before troubleshooting, make sure the power is turn off, the grill in turn off.

PID Screen
Not Turn ON
Grill is not
properly plugged
in.
Ensure all wire connections are
firmly connected.
Ensure grill is plugged into a
working GFCI outlet.
The circuit board
fuse has been
tripped.
Fuse must be manually replaced.
The GFCI outlet
has been tripped.
Ensure all wire connections are
firmly connected and dry.
Ensure GFCI is a minimum 10
Amp service.
“Err” and Fan icon
is flashing
Fan not plugged
in or damage
Ensure Fan wire is connected
correctly to PID screen.
Confirm wire connections and
replace if has any damage.
“Err” and Igniter
icon is flashing
Igniter not
plugged in or
damage
Ensure Igniter wire is connected
correctly to PID screen.
Confirm wire connections and
replace if has any damage.
“Err” and Auger
icon is flashing
Auger not
plugged in or
damage
Ensure Auger wire is connected
correctly to PID screen.
Confirm wire connections and
replace if has any damage.
“ErH”
The grill has
overheated, due
to grease fire or
excess pellets.
Turn the grill off and allow to
cool.
Clean grill interior, remove excess
pellets
“ErP”
Thermal probe
not plugged in
or damage
Thermal probe not being used.
Ensure thermal probe wire is
connected correctly to PID screen.
Confirm wire connections and
replace if has any damage.
