WARNING: DO NOT change pellets while the grill is hot.
Visually inspect the hopper finger safety guard to make sure that it is in place and not
damaged before filling the hopper with your choice of pellets.
NOTE:
• The grill temperature is influenced by the ambient temperature. The grill may not be able
to reach the highest temperature in cold weather.
• The new operating temperature should stabilize within 15 minutes. The best way to
lower the grill temperature is to leave the lid open for a few minutes.

MEAT PROBE:
• To use a meat probe, insert the plug into the socket on the controller. Route the meat
probe into the cooking chamber by passing it through the silicon grommet found in the
cooking chamber end cap. Insert the meat probe into the food with the tip at the center
of the meat.
• To read the temperature, press the M/P button for 2 seconds. The meat probe
temperature will display for a short while before returning to the default display.
