The stepper
The Excel G-Evolution is equipped with two steppers (photo 29). These can be used by the attendant to put extra
force when an increase should be undertaken with the wheelchair. However, you should be careful with the
steppers when you use them.
6.10
The wheels
At your wheelchair there are front and rear wheels mounted. These should be checked regularly for wear.
6.10.1
The front wheels
The front wheels of the wheelchair are 7“ and fastened by means of a front fork to the frame of the wheelchair
(photo 30). The front wheels are important when you want to steer the wheelchair in the right direction. When the
steering is not going smoothly or the front wheels vibrate, the front wheels are not properly set and / or adjusted.
6.10.2
The rear wheels
The rear wheels of the wheelchair are 24“ PU tires (photo 31). These tires are less prone to leak. On the rear
wheels are also hoops confirmed. These hoops enables you to propel the wheelchair. In addition, the rear wheel is
equipped with solid spokes. The rear wheels are removable by the quick-release system. This makes them easy to
take off. By pressing the black button (picture 32), you can remove the rear wheel (photo 33).
