6.1.2
Unfolding the wheelchair
To unfold the wheelchair, please follow the following steps.
•
To unfold the wheelchair, you first have to stand next to or in front of the wheelchair;
•
Now, press on the seat tubes (photo 7) to expand the wheelchair;
•
To make sure the wheelchair is folded correctly, go stand next to or in front of the wheelchair and push the
seat tube as far as it will go (photo 8);
•
Now you can put the foot rests down again (photo 9).
6.2
The push handles
The push handles of your Excel G-Evolution are ergonomically designed (photo 10). This means your attendant
has a good grip on the push handles. As a result, pushing the wheelchair by your attendant is not only more
comfortable, but the wheelchair can also be pushed safer. In addition, the lever that is visible under the push
handle, is intended to adjust the height of the push handles..
Warning
When you are unfolding the wheelchair, you must make sure it is completely unfolded. The proceeding described at
photo 8 is very important.
