6.4 Electrical setup
WARNING: Electrical work shall only be done by a fully qualified and trained
electrician. Follow the local laws and regulations.
WARNING: Make sure the power cable is disconnected from mains power
while connecting it to the device
WARNING: The light traps, clamping rings and cover (
) rings must always be mounted when the device is turned on, it
additionally protects against the UVC light rest radiation that escapes out of
the housing.
WARNING: This product is a device of protection class 1 and require a
protective earth grounding and may only be connected to circuits that are
protected by a Residual Current Device (RCD). Therefore, always connect the
corresponding PE (Protection Earth) cable.
Connect the included power cable (power cable CEE-7/7 to powerCON TRUE1) to the plug on
the device (powerCON TRUE1) (Figure 6).
Connect the network cable to the device and your computer/network, if desired (Figure 7, No.2).
Connect the power cable to the power connection.
