PCL-726 Calibration
To ensure the measurement accuracy, It is very important to cabibrate the
PCL-726 card. It is necessary to know how to calibrate PCL-726 before you
start to use it. This chapter will guide you through the calibrate procedure to
avoid unnecessary measurement errors.
4.1 Environment and tools
1. A Computer with DOS
2. Software: 726UTIL.EXE
3. Tools: DC regulated power supply, Digital multi-meter
4. Terminal board: PCLD-9137
4.2The distribution of variable precise resistors
1. VR1-1, VR2-1, VR3-1, VR4-1, VR5-1 and VR6-1 are used to calibrate D/A
analog channels CHO, CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 and CH5 unipolar full-scale
output voltage with –5V or –10V internal reference voltage.
2. VR1-2, VR2-2, VR3-2, VR4-2, VR5-2 and VR6-2 are used to calibrate D/A
analog channels CHO, CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 and CH5 offset bipolar
output voltage with –5V or –10V internal reference voltage.
3. VR1-3, VR2-3, VR3-3, VR4-3, VR5-3 and VR6-3 are used to calibrate D/A
analog channels CHO, CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4 and CH5 unipolar offset
output current with –5V internal reference voltage .
