2.25 Installing the CPU
Please install the CPU fan as follows: (refer to the figure below):
Step 1: Press down the control rod, and pull it slightly outward to disengage it from
the snap fixing;
Step 2: Fully open the carrier board;
Step 3: Remove the black protection cover, black protection cover can be pulled up by
"Move away" label on the cover;
Step 4: Locate the CPU by correct method and align the pins, then gently insert it into
the CPU socket;
Notes: The triangle mark on the CPU socket must be aligned with the triangle mark
on the CPU.
