Motherboard Device Drivers
To begin using the nForce3 Motherboard Driver CD, insert it into the
CD-ROM drive. The CD will automatically display the device drivers
menu if Autorun is enabled on the system. See Figure 4.1 below.
Note: In the event Autorun is not enabled, navigate to the CD-ROM
Drive within Windows® Explorer and double click the autorun.exe
icon.
Once the Device Drivers Menu appears, select the item(s) that are to be
installed on the system.
Install Motherboard Drivers
This Item installs the NVIDIA Chipset Drivers for the nForce3
Chipset. This includes the LAN driver as well as the IDE driver.
Install Audio Drivers
This item installs the ALC AC97’ Codec Audio Divers for the on-
board sound.
Install USB 2.0 Drivers
This item installs the USB 2.0 Drivers. This requires Windows® XP
Service Pack 1 or higher.
Install NVIDIA nTune™ Software
This enables the easiest, safest, and highest performing
overclocking available for NVIDIA nForce-based PCs.
Install Acrobat® Reader®
This item installs the Acrobat Reader. It is required to view the PDF
version of the CD Manual.
View CD Manual
This item brings up the PDF version of the user’s manual.
