4.2
Requirements prior to initial commissioning
A few preparations are necessary before your service engineer can set up your e’line. The following
preparations must be carried out by a professionally qualified person:
• The mains connection for the machine must be protected by a residual-current device (RCD) or a
residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB).
• There must be a power switch to disconnect the mains power cord to the machine.
• The permanent water connection must have a shut-off valve with a non-return valve (type EA or
according to local regulation) and descaling cartridge or carbon filter as minimum.
• If the main water pressure exceeds 2.5 - 4 bars (32.3 - 58 psi), install a pressure reducer.
• The permanent water connection must comply with the specified technical data: water inlet 3/8"
(see
“2.3.7” on page 24 for more information
).
• The drain hose must be connected to a siphon (input min. Ø 56 mm (Ø 2.2 in)).

Specific settings
Settings are done by the Eversys service organization. If wishing to change factory parameters, make
sure to go through the
with your service engineer during commissioning.
The preparations listed above must be carried out by a qualified person. Execution according to EN
61770.
Water quality recommendation:
• Total hardness: 5 - 8° dGH (89-142 ppm)
• Carbonate hardness: max. 6° dKH (107 ppm)
• pH value: ideal 7.0 - 7.2
If using the optional grounds bin make sure to previously cut out the countertop.
