NETWORK SETTING

NETWORK SETTING MENU
. This menu is for configuring the DVR for a
network connection.
NOTE: Since every Network Configuration is different, please check with your Network Administrator or ISP
to see if your DVR requires specific IP addresses and/or port numbers.
This chapter doesn’t contain
network basic details. For further information, especially as regard to router installation and internet
connection, please refer to the publication “EverFocus network technique”.

LAN
Network Type:
Static IP:
User can set a fixed IP for network connection.
DHCP:
DHCP server in LAN will automatically assign IP for network connection
PPPoE: For direct connection to DSL ONLY. Verify with your ISP if they use PPPoE.
User name:
User name stored at the ISP (only visible if PPPoE is selected)
Password:
Password stored at ISP (only visible if PPPoE is selected)
IP:
This field shows the DVR’s current IP Address. A static IP address must be set manually. If DHCP or
PPPoE is selected, this value will be assigned automatically (no manual change possible).
