Recording:
Select the cameras to be recorded when alarm happens.
Email Notify:
Check box to enable email notification in case of an alarm event.
Input Type:
This field is to change the type of alarm trigger.
N.O.: Normal Open contact.
N.C.: Normal Close contact.
Network Alarm:
Check box to send out a network alarm to client PC in case of an alarm event (requires
PowerCon software and setting up Alarm Server in Network Setup menu)
Active Camera:
This field is for assigning the alarm to a specific camera.
Auto Lock:
Check the box to store alarm events in the write protected segment of the harddisk. (The DVR
locks a period of time in case of an alarm event, the length depends on the DVR settings).
PTZ Preset:
If the assigned camera has a PTZ function, you may enter a preset position (1 ~ 255) in this
field. In case of an alarm, the camera will move to the specified preset position for event recording.
Alarm Output:
Select from the dropdown menu whether or not an alarm signal shall be transmitted through
one of the alarm outputs to another device. Choose either “
NONE
” (disabled) or “

”, or “

(transmission through alarm output 1~4).
Output Type:
Output action when alarm is triggered.
Timeout: Alarm output remains switched for the set duration.
Permanent: Alarm remains switched until user presses the “Enter” key on front panel.
Transparent: Alarm output remains switched as long as there is an alarm event.
Trans+Timeout: Alarm output remains switched until event ends and afterwards for the set duration.
Timeout Duration:
Timeout duration, selectable from 1 to 150 seconds.
Apply To:
This button can be used to copy the recording settings to other cameras. Check the box for all
cameras the settings shall be transferred to and confirm your selection with “OK”. "Select All" selects all
cameras, “Unselect All” deselects all cameras. Click "Cancel" to exit without copying.
Alarm 16 is used for alarm trigger, recording start, playback start and armed / disarmed switching.
