6.10 MOTION DETECTION
To set up Motion Detection areas, scroll to the
MOTION DET field on the second Main Menu
page and select ON. Now click ENTER to open
the settings submenu.

DETECT SENSE:
The higher the number, the more sensitive the camera’s
motion detector will be.

BLOCK DISP:
Block Display displays small blocks around movement
points on the screen. It is generally used to test if the motion detection
function is working. Set the block display to ON to test the motion
detection function.
Remember to set it to OFF for normal operation.
Select ENABLE and press Enter to set up motion-detection exclusion
areas by moving a cursor and clicking Enter to create gaps in the active
mask.

MONITOR AREA:
Switch this field ON to activate the four monitor area
blocks. Once you switch this function ON, the four blocks will appear on
the screen.
AREA SEL: Use your LEFT and RIGHT buttons to select one of the four
Monitor Areas (the on-screen blocks). Use the TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT, and
RIGHT configuration bars to increase or decrease the size of the
selected Monitor Area block.
