Appendix C. Emergency Factory Default
In certain circumstance, to restore the server to initial factory default state may be necessary, normally processed
through web page (Miscellaneous Operation). If the user can’t get into web page (e.g. Missing Username and
Password information), then he could use Emergency Factory Default to restore to factory default settings. The
username and password will be removed, and the IP address of the device will back to 192.168.0.200.
Procedures as below:
1. Turn off the power by plugging out the power connector.
2. Disassemble the dome until the PCB is appeared.
3.
Use a plastic or wood object press the switch shown
on the figure and don’t release.
4. Plug in the power to turn on the device, the Power LED
starts to blinking after around 3 seconds. When the
Power LED become steady red, release the switch.
5. Server in PCB will restore to factory default and restart.
6. The IP address of the device will be set back to 192.168.0.200, after assembled the dome, use IP Installer to
change the IP address.
