SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Always pull the knife toward you. Never push the knife away from you.

Do not twist the knife when sharpening.

Keep constant force and speed during sharpening.

Cleaning by dishwasher is forbidden, the exterior of sharpener should be cleaned up by
a soft cloth, don’t immerse the sharpener into water or other liquid.

The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this
device as describe in this instruction manual.

Always place your device on a dry surface.
₋
Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic parts.
₋
Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
₋
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities, or by persons lacking in experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed on the use of this apparatus by a
person responsible for their safety.Children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with this appliance.
B.
HOW TO USE IT
This device is designed to sharpen kitchen knives, pocket knives or other metal or ceramic knives.
Do not use scissors, razor blades or any other blade that are not suitable in size and / or thickness
to the knife sharpener.
Always use this device after cleaning blades (see section "care and maintenance").
Place the knife sharpener on a flat, stable surface.
Press the button and rotate the handle to open the sharpener until it locks in the open position.
Hold the sharpener with one hand and the knife handle with the other.
Slot 1 Diamond Coated Rods (Preparation)
Repair damaged edges and balance the blade before
actually sharpening.
Insert knife blade fully into the slot at a 90°angle to
the sharpener. Apply light downward pressure on
the blade while pulling the knife through the
sharpening slot from heel to tip. Avoid rubbing the
face of the blade against the walls of the slot when
sharpening. Always pull the knife from heal to tip,
never push the knife away from you.
Repeat this action, normally 5-7 pulls will get the
blade sharp, but knives made of extremely hard steel may require additional pulls.
Slot 2 Carbide Blades (Sharpening)
Sharpen the blade and restore its shape to a V- cut.
Insert knife blade fully into the slot at a 90°angle to the sharpener. Apply light downward
pressure on the blade while pulling the knife through the sharpening slot from heel to tip. Avoid
rubbing the face of the blade against the walls of the slot when sharpening. Always pull the
knife from heal to tip, never push the knife away from you.
Repeat this action, normally 5-7 pulls will get the blade sharp, but knives made of extremely
hard steel may require additional pulls.
Slot 3 Ceramic Rods (Polishing)
Remove burrs and polish the blade so that it is as sharp as razor.
The polishing process is the same as that of the sharpening, ie several successive passes in the
slot 3 of the sharpener are necessary.
The sharpener has three slots, pull the knife through each slot one by one, from slot 1 to slot 3.
Do not sharpen alternately in the three slots.
Press the button to close the sharpener after using it.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Cleaning
Clean your sharpener with a damp cloth or a mild brush. Do not rinse with water.
Do not put in the dishawsher.
b)
