To configure the General Parameters:
1)
On the Main Toolbar, click
Ports
.
2)
From the ports list, select
General
.
3)
Define the following parameters:
Block Threshold
- The Gateway blocks the SIM when the port has reached the defined
number of consecutive failed calls.
SIM registration time limit
- SIM has not registered successfully within this time periods
(secs).
4)
Click
Save
.
To block a SIM manually:
1)
On the Main Toolbar, click
Virtual SIM
.
2)
Select
SIM Servers
tab.
3)
Click
Synchronization
.
4)
Click the
+
next to the Card.
5)
In
Block Options
, click
Block
.
6)
Click
Save Card
.
The SIM is blocked when it is finished working, (i.e. either at the end of a defined Time Table or
when the port is reset).
To unblock a SIM:
1)
On the Main Toolbar, click
Virtual SIM
.
2)
Select
SIM Servers
tab.
3)
Click
Synchronization
.
4)
Click the
+
next to the Card.
5)
In
Block Options
, click
Clear
.
6)
Click
Unblock
.
7)
Click
Save.
The SIM is unblocked immediately.

CHECKING SIM BALANCE
The SIM balance is the amount of money remaining on the SIM.
There are two methods of checking the balance:
Manually
- Using the debug screen. See
Appendix B: Sending USSD (Unstructured
Supplementary Service Data) commands in the DEBUG screen
on page 70.
