LP (PROPANE) CONVERSION

JVF-60-M2-S

JVF-60-M2-ST

WARNING

This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service 

agency in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions 

and all applicable codes and requirements of the Authority 

having jurisdiction.  If the information in these instructions is 

not followed exactly, a fire, explosion or production of carbon 

monoxide may result causing property damage, personal injury 

or loss of life. The qualified service agency is responsible for 

the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper 

and complete until the operation of the converted appliance 

is checked as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions 

supplied with the kit.

This kit is to be used to convert the J-M2 models from natural gas to propane.  

It is not to be used to convert any other 

models.

The conversion must be performed only by a qualified service person or agency.

If the fireplace or burner has been connected to natural gas, contact your local gas supplier to have the natural gas 

supply disconnected and removed.

The maximum and minimum inlet supply pressure is controlled by the regulator.  It is set at a supply pressure of 11 

inches water column.

The manifold pressure cannot be adjusted.  It should be 10.3 inches water column.  The propane input is rated at 65,000 

Btu/hr.

For installations above 2000 feet elevation, check with local authorities or your propane supplier for proper deration.

Please refer to page 14 for LP cylinder enclosure.
