Getting Started

Unpacking

•  Carton

: This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation

damage. Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging materials until you have
made sure your new heater is undamaged and in good working order. The
carton is recyclable. We recommend you keep it for safe storage of the heater
when it is not in use. Otherwise reuse the carton and recycle it when disposing
of the packaging materials.

•  Plastic wrapping

can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children,

so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach and disposed of safely.

•  Cord:

Unwind the cord to its full length and inspect it and the plug for

damage. Do not use the heater if the appliance or its cord have been damaged
or are not working properly. In case of damage, contact our after sales support
centre for advice on examination, repair or return of the damaged product.

•  Documentation

: Read this manual to familiarise yourself with all the parts

and operating principles of the heater. Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions on the previous pages.

•  Wheels:

The heater is packaged with the feet (castor wheel assemblies) unat-

tached. You must attach them before turning on the heater.

Assembly

•  Unpack the castor wheel assemblies and wing nuts.
•  Put a soft covering on a table or benchtop and carefully lay the heater on top

with the bottom end at the edge of the table.

•  Position a castor wheel assembly on the two protruding screws, threading

through the inner holes in the mounting plate. Do not loosen the screws.

•  Secure the wheel assembly using two wing nuts, but do not overtighten. Affix

the second castor wheel assembly the same way at the other end of the heater.

•  Turn the heater in upright position after the castor wheels are properly fitted.
