Even if properly operating and handling this product in accordance with all the
safety requirements, potential risks of injury and damage remain. Due to its
construction and build, this tool may present the following hazards:
a)
Electric shock from insufficient insulation. Check the device for damages and
proper function before each use; if you notice damages, no longer use it. And
Do not use the product when the product or your hands are damp or wet.
b)
Ear damage if working without ear protection.
c)
There is a risk of a short-circuit due to liquid penetrating the housing. Do not
immerse the product and the accessories in water. And make sure that no
water or other liquid can enter the housing.
d)
Damage to your health caused by swinging your hands and arms when
operating the tool for longer periods of time or if the tool is not held or
maintained properly.
Warning! During operating, the product generates an electromagnetic field which,
under certain circumstances, may impair the functionality of active or passive
medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious or lethal injuries, we recommend
that persons with medical implants consult their doctor and the manufacturer of
their medical implant before operating the electric tool.
Explanation of the safety devices
Motor brake-The motor brake the chain as soon as the on-off switch is released
or the power supply is interrupted. This significantly reduces the risk of injury from
a chain running behind.
Chain brake-The chain brake is a protective mechanism that is triggered by the
front hand guard if the chain is thrown back by a kickback, releases the chain
brake and stops the chain in a few 0.1 seconds
Hand protection-The front hand guard (also chain brake) protects your fingers
from injuries caused by the account with the chain, if it breaks due to overload.
