The CD Device cannot be accessed.
possible cause:
The external IDE device drive is not plugged in
correctly to the port on the left (
See “External
IDE Port” on page 1 - 16)
of the computer.
solution:
Check that the connector is fully locked into the
port and restart the computer.
A music compact disc can be read while a data disc can not.
possible cause:
There may be a problem with the disc hardware
or software.
solution:
Refer to your operating system manual for more
information on the software and make sure you
have the correct software installed for running
video compact discs. If the proper software is
properly installed and a problem still exists, con-
tact your service center about a possible hard-
ware problem.

to enable
you to connect/discon-
nect the drive while the
computer is on. If the
driver is not installed
the drive must be con-
nected before you start
up the computer.
