Standard parallel shank (DIN338)
1.
Remove the Morse Taper 3 (MT3) arbor for Weldon shanks (see paragraph Morse Taper
spindle)
2.
Fit a MT3 spindle connection
a.
EUROBOOR code 1/2UNF-MC3 for 1/2" x 20 UNF drill chuck connections
b.
EUROBOOR code B16-MC3 for B16 drill chuck connections
3.
Fit the appropriate twist drill chuck to the spindle
4.
Fit the drill with parallel shank and fasten it

5.
Precisely mark the center of the hole, and use the tip of the twist drill to position the
machine.
