NOTE:
Grill or Oven Failure
• Check thermocouple terminal.
• Inspect rear of thermostat (under hob) to check that
thermocouple connections are ”tight” and parallel to
each other.
• Check thermostat knob for suffi cient clearance from
the control panel to allow electromagnet to fully
seat.
• If above cannot solve the problem, replace
thermocouple.
Grill or Oven Ignition Failure
• Ensure that the electrode lead is not ”earthing”
against cabinet.
• Check spark gap from electrode tip to burner.
Should be only 5-6 mm.
• Check ceramic body of electrode for obvious
damage or cracks.
• If no spark at all, check ignition box failure or power
source.
Hot Plate Ignition Failure
• Check alignment of burner holes to electrode.
• Check aeration sleeve for adjustment for gas type,
location and ambient conditions.
• No spark, check ignition box failure or power
supply.
Before Leaving
• Check all connections for gas leaks with soap and
water. DO NOT use a naked fl ame for detecting
leaks. Ignite all burners to ensure correct operation
of gas valves, burners and ignition.
• Turn gas taps to low fl ame position and observe
stability of the fl ame. When satisfi ed with the cooker,
please instruct the user on the correct method of
operation.
• In case the appliance fails to operate correctly
after all checks have been carried out, refer to the
authorised service provider in your area.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
GAS CONVERSIONS
When converting from Natural Gas to Propane ensure
that the NG regulator is removed and replaced with the
Test Point Assembly. An AGA Approved gas regulator
suitable for a supply pressure of 2.75 kPa should be
part of the gas tank supply and the test point pressure
should be adjusted to 2.75 kPa.
Replace the old data plate with one, which is suitable
for the type of gas for which the appliance has been
regulated.
REPLACING THE INJECTORS
Conversion of the cookers to operate on other gas
types can be achieved by fi tting the appropriate
injectors to suit the gas type.
• To perform injector conversion of hotplate burners, it
is necessary to remove the hot plate as described in
paragraph «HOTPLATE BURNERS». Unscrew the
fi xing screws (V) of the burners on the crosspieces
(fi g. 27), remove the bodies of burner (C) and with
an appropriate key substitute injectors (D).
• In order to substitute injector (C) (fi g.24) of the oven
burner, it is necessary to disassemble the burner by
unscrewing the screw (D).
• In order to substitute injector (C) (fi g.25) of the grill
burner, it is necessary to disassemble the burner by
unscrewing the screw (D).
The table on page 25 lists the input of the burners, the
diameter of the injectors and the operating pressure
for the different gases.
After having replaced the injectors, it will be
necessary to proceed with burner adjustment as
explained in the previous paragraphs.
