CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Prior to any maintenance work or cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the electricity mains.
• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean a hob, oven or range.
• Do not wash the parts if they are still hot.
• Do not use metal pads, abrasive powders or corrosive spray products for cleaning
• Do not leave vinegar, coffee, milk, salty water or the juice of lemon or tomato on enamelled surfaces
for any length of time.
HOT PLATE
To keep the surface of the hob and the various components in pristine condition (grill, enamelled covers, burner
heads and fl ame diffusers, it is very important to wash them in warm soapy water, rinse and dry them well after
each use.
IMPORTANT
Comply with the following instructions, before remounting all parts:
• Position the burner skirts as indicated in fi g. 14.
• Verify that the holes of fl ame ring are not obstructed by any residue and that stop notch (H) on the fl ame ring
itself, has been correctly positioned on lip (Q) (see fi g. 15).
• Take care not to disturb the ignition spark plugs or eventually fl ame failure devices.
• Do not force the taps if they are diffi cult to open. Contact the technical assistance service for repairs.
