Removal of clogging and blockage
The leaf material and fresh plant parts or large sticks etc. may clog / block the tube or the
impeller.
∫ Roll the ON/OFF and speed control thumb wheel (2) to “O” position to switch off and
remove the battery pack from the appliance.
∫ Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) to remove the retaining screw (23) and
set it aside.
∫ Disassemble the lower tube (11) from the upper tube assembly (12).
∫ Carefully remove residues or clogging / blockage from the impeller and upper tube
assembly (12).
∫ Rotate the impeller (may use the wood stick (not supplied) to ensure the blockage is
completely cleared.
∫ Check to make sure the impeller is in undamaged condition. Have the defective impeller
S replaced in Service Centre.
∫ Reinstall the lower tube assembly (11) and the collection bag (7).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
• Repair and servicing work not described in this manual should always be carried by
our service centre. Use only original parts.
• Check, clean and maintain the tool after each use.
• Turn off the appliance and remove the battery before doing any servicing. Warning of
the danger of rotating parts!
• Wear gloves when handling.
• Do not spray the product with water and do not immerse it in water. Electric shock
hazards.
• The following cleaning and servicing should be done regularly. This will ensure a long
and reliable service life.
Cleaning
∫ Keep clean the ventilation slots, motor housing and handles of the appliance. Use a
damp cloth or a brush and compressed air if necessary.
∫ Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. You may otherwise irreparably damage the tool.
∫ Always keep the appliance clean.
Maintenance
∫ Prior to every use, check the tool for obvious defects such as loose, worn or damaged
parts.
∫ Check the motor housing (4) and tubes for damages and correct installation. Replace as
necessary.
