STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Storage.
- The lower tube assembly (11) may be removed from the upper tube assembly (12) for
storage, but not suggest to do it.
- Store the appliance in a dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place, protected from use and out
of the range of children.
- Remove the rechargeable battery from the tool before storing.
- Only store the battery partly charged. When storing for extended periods, the charge
should be 40-60%.
- During a longer storage period, check the state of charge of the battery and recharge if
necessary roughly every 3 months.
- We recommend using the original package for storage or covering the product with a
suitable cloth or enclosure to protect it against dust.
- Regularly check the charge level of the battery pack, if it is to be stored for an extended
period. Optimum storage conditions are cool and dry.
- Avoid extreme cold or heat during storage.
Transportation
1. Switch the product off and remove the battery pack (5).
2. Always carry the appliance by its handles.
3. Protect the product from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur during
transportation in vehicles.
4. Secure the appliance to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
