Self-calibration of the electric device
To guarantee the best possible CO2 measurement, a self-calibrating NDIR high-
performance sensor is installed in the
AirCop
. This sensor detects the CO2
content of the ambient air and stores the lowest value every day. This value is
interpreted as the CO2 content of the fresh air. This assumes that the room is well
ventilated once a day. This process is repeated daily. If the daily stored lowest
value deviates less than +- 25 ppm in 7 consecutive days, the sensor calibrates
itself to this value. The operation is shown on the following infographics:
